BIO: “We’ve lived in Joplin most of our lives. Our children were born in the hospital that was destroyed. Jesse is 12 and Lewy is 8 years old.”
TESTIMONIAL/LOSS: “We were not at home when the tornado hit. We had decided to go watch a movie about 8 blocks away from where the tornado hit. We were deciding to BBQ or not. God had his hand in our decision. We praise Him every day my children were not in the tornado directly. Our home had two walls left standing and the front part of our roof. We might not have made it if we were home. Our plan for a tornado was to get in the bathroom. Our bathroom didn’t make it! We are just so blessed we were not home. We lost some material things. But, we are so thankful how much God is around. It makes us want to live here forever. As a Joplin family, we want to THANK every volunteer for all their kindness, help and compassion”.
